Where do I start?!Delving in to the world of kitchens can be daunting..There is so much choice and there are lots of decisions to be made! However, we like to think that it can also be an exciting process, too. This process usually begins with inviting you to come and see us at our Design Studio in Northamptonshire. Get inspired and have a chat with one of our talented designers about your project plans. We are proud to be located in a stunning rural location with free parking and 140sqm of beautiful displays. Pop in and see us any time, or contact us to book an appointment with a designer. In the meantime, there is also lots of inspiration to be found on the 'Real Kitchens' section of our website, as well as our Pinterest and social media. From here, we can arrange a home survey to measure up your space or obtain copies of architectural plans and the designing can begin. You will then meet with your designer (usually within 7 days) to see your new kitchen designs. We can discuss any changes that may be required, arrange any follow-up design meetings, and provide indicative or full costs, dependent on the complexity of your project. Sadly, we don't provide drawings to take away at this point, however we share all drawings and plans at the next stage. When you are ready to proceed, we ask for a £1,000 initial fixed deposit, we will then pencil in an installation date and book a pre-installation survey. You'll meet with your Designer at our showroom once more to make exciting final choices for the details, such as door style, colour etc. At this point we’ll issue a full deposit invoice, order your new kitchen and confirm dates. You’ll receive an installation schedule mapping out dates. Your Installation Manager will then guide you as your project commences and your dream comes to life!

How long will it take?We pride ourselves in project management skills and always put them to best use when planning your project. Our lead designer, Ian, is a trained project and programme manager and is an accredited Prince 2 Practitioner and MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) Practitioner with more than a decade of experience managing complex programmes of work. Customers are often surprised at the complexity and duration of a well planned and managed kitchen installation project. In advance of your project we provide you with a full project plan, including details of who is visiting your home, their purpose, and how long we expect them to be with you. We identify key milestones on your schedule so that you can track the progress of your project with ease. For supply only, our lead times are 6-8 weeks from the point of order to delivery of your kitchen furniture. Please also bear in mind that you will need at least two meetings with your designer prior to the order being placed.

What is ‘Specialist Work’ and can you help?Specialist Work is a phrase that you are likely to encounter when planning and costing your new kitchen project. It is a term used by retailers (big and small) to cover additional work often required to achieve a finished project, such as: Plaster boarding and plastering Electrical work e.g. new appliance connections, moving sockets, new lighting, updated fuse boards, etc. Plumbing work e.g., new sink and tap plumbing, moving waste pipes, installing washing machines / dishwashers, etc. Tiling e.g., wall and floor tiling Flooring e.g., preparation of subfloors and installation of luxury vinyl tiles, engineered wood floors, etc. Glazing e.g. replacement or installation of new windows / doors / bifold doors We work with a team of professional, experienced, and reliable tradesmen daily. We pride ourselves on being a one stop shop for your entire project, including plumbing, plastering, electrics, existing building work, flooring, carpentry, and decorating. We will also project manage the whole thing, so you can just relax and let the magic happen.

How does payment work? After viewing your designs and giving a detailed quote outlining all project costs, we ask for £1,000 deposit to secure your project in our diary. You will then have a final specification meeting to decide on all the good stuff like door colours, sinks and taps etc. At this point we issue a full deposit invoice (which is 40% of your overall costs) to get your kitchen ordered and confirm dates for your new kitchen to arrive. It will then be 25% on (or before) the day your project commences, 25% on the day of delivery, and a final 10% on project completion. For supply only, we ask for the full balance upon order of your kitchen. We now also offer finance options too. See below.
-
Do you offer finance?Yes, we do! See our 'Financing your project' page or contact us for more information.

Is there a warranty on your products? The quality of our furniture is superb, and all our cabinets come with a 10 year warranty and Blum’s Lifetime Guarantee on moving parts, so you can rest assured your kitchen will last for years to come. Doors, panels, frontages and wireworks also carry a 3 year warranty.

What kind of worktops do you use?The majority of our customers tend to go with quartz worktops, due to being hard wearing, easy to clean, and of course looking stunning with our kitchens. We offer an optional visit to the factory where you can choose your quartz and see how it is made. Other options such as solid wood, Corian, or laminates are also available.
